We have a private boat dock walking distance from Cabins 1-15, and all condos.  However, you will find it more convenient to drive as roads are up and downhill.  There is plenty of parking at the dock.

There is no launching at the Rocking Chair Resort boat dock.  Robinson Point Park is less than 1 mile from the resort. You will launch your boat there and bring the boat back to our resort for parking while you stay.

Our provision store on the premises is there for your convenience!  We carry:

  • Charcoal/Lighter Fluid

  • Ice Cream

  • Milk

  • Beer

  • Soda

  • Snacks

  • Fishing tackle

  • Laundry Detergent

  • T-shirts, hats and gifts

We are 3 miles from a Dollar General, 8 miles from a WalMart Superstore.

We do not sell fishing licenses.  All marinas, gas stations, and WalMart sell them.

We are animal lovers so we know how important it is to be able to bring your pets. We are one of only a few resorts that allow pets.

Pet charge is $50 for cabins 1-15 and the Secluded Coach House.  $75 for all other homes. There are plenty of places to walk your dog, but please keep them on a leash. Never leave your pets alone in the cabin. No cats, please.  We can't wait to meet your furry friends, so please bring them!
